You are a graduate in any discipline.

What is the duration of the fellowship, and where will it take place?
The fellowship spans 12 months, starting in May 2025. While most of the work will involve collaboration with grassroots NGOs, training modules and key events will take place in designated locations across India.
What qualities are you looking for in a SWAR Fellow?
We’re seeking individuals who are passionate about leadership and change, willing to take on challenges, and committed to making a meaningful impact. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude will set you apart.
Does the stipend cover all expenses during the fellowship?
The monthly stipend is designed to cover living expenses. Additionally, travel costs related to the program and insurance coverage are included.
Will I need to relocate for the fellowship? If yes, will housing be provided?
Yes, fellows may need to relocate to field locations depending on their assigned projects. While housing is not directly provided, the stipend supports living expenses, and assistance in finding accommodations may be available.
What opportunities are available after completing the fellowship?
The fellowship opens doors to leadership roles in NGOs, CSR foundations, and social enterprises. It also strengthens your network and skills, paving the way for impactful career pathways.
Is there an alumni network or continued mentorship after the fellowship ends?
Yes, all fellows become part of the SWAR Fellowship alumni network. This includes continued opportunities for networking, mentorship, and collaboration on future projects.
Can I defer the fellowship if selected?
The fellowship cannot be deferred. Selected candidates are expected to join the program starting May 2025.
